How does YES work?

How does YES work ?

Simple but sophisticate and unique at the same time.
YES will protect the land acquired from its exploitation by keeping the “Ownership” of the land in the hands of a Trust, while selling the “Beneficiary Rights” over any specific plots of land, no matter if the size is 1 cm2 or 10.000 m2.

Why not re-selling the “Ownership”? Because if you sell the ownership of a piece of land (no matter the size) it is very difficult to avoid the right of the new owners to do whatever they want to do on the land they own but…
if a Trust with a restrict mandate keeps the ownership over this land… and only the beneficiary rights are sold… then you can really protect the land. Furthermore, ownership cannot be transferred so easily in most countries as it involves lot of paperwork and most of the times even the necessity to physically travel to the country where the land is located.

Lets stat with some easy calculation…
If we divide all the land in the planet among all the population that live here… are you aware that only a small area of less than 20.000 m2 of the earth corresponds to each of us?... Even less if we assume that around 20% of the land has already been protected somehow by the governments… Are you going to do anything to protect it?

YES, can help you...

And… what makes even more interesting the concept of YES… is that you are selling “something” that legally exists and it will survive in the future… what obviously it is not the case when you give a donation.

The target is to protect the largest possible amount of land, progressively and parallel to the sale of the Beneficiary Rights over the land already acquired.
And… YES doesn’t just sell Beneficiary Rights, it also offers personalized items of with the coordinates of the acquired properties… not only to benefit from the revenues that implies for the project but because it will help us to spread our project out.
